Dr. Christy, Yachi Chiang received her bachelor degree in Law from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, LL.M. in CyberLaw from University of Leeds, UK and Ph.D from the University of Durham, UK.
Prior to academic career, Christy had worked in Taiwan Legislative Yuan and a number of different law offices, in which equipped her with solid experiences from both the public and private sectors.
Since 2012, Christy began lecture at the Graduate Institute of Intellectual Property Law of Shih-Hsin University in Taiwan. In 2013, she then joined the Graduate Institute of Intellectual Property at National Taipei University of Technology as assistant professor and the director of patent licensing and technology transfer center at NTUT.
Currently Christy main research interests focus on the evolution of intellectual property laws in the digital age, the technology transfer models in campus, and the impact of technology in the IP litigation process.
