Laurie has a Doctor of Philosophy from the Faculty of Humanities, Law & Social Sciences, University of Glamorgan, Wales, UK.
He is currently a Director of a privately own company and an entrepreneur. Laurie has had experience in research on policing of internet related crimes, technology and society including the publication of a number of book chapters, newspapers, trade journals and magazines. As well as acted as blind reviewer for a book proposal for publisher based in the UK.
Laurie’s main research interests relate to internet banking fraud, online crimes, internet of things, technology and society, mobile/movable devices crimes, issue relate to cloud computing, policing issue relate to the internet and mobile-phones.
In addition being an entrepreneur, Laurie is also actively involving himself within the Hong Kong community including acting as mentor to Wu Yee Sun College’s students, Chinese University of Hong Kong.
